GE HealthCare and Masimo Enter into a Collaboration Agreement to Combine Masimo SET Pulse Oximetry with the Portrait Mobile Platform

- Building upon its earlier partnership with Masimo, GE Healthcare has joined forces with Masimo to integrate Masimo’s Signal Extraction Technology (SET) pulse oximetry with GE HealthCare’s Portrait Mobile wireless & wearable patient monitoring solution
- The integration allows the usage of Masimo’s measure-through motion & SpO2 measurement technology to monitor changes noninvasively detect & continuously in patient status. The agreement was signed after Portrait Mobile’s 510(k) clearance, received by the US FDA earlier on Aug’23
- Built to serve as an Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) platform, the Portrait Mobile is designed using a cloud-native technology to provide continuous monitoring through wearables
